DotUtsav
Desktop app

Your export folder,
delivered live.

Point it at the folder Lightroom exports to. Photos upload behind you, guests find themselves by selfie, and the wedding delivers itself while you are still shooting it.

Download for Windows
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit .zip archive 35.8 MB 24 Aug 2026

Nothing to install. Right click the download, choose Extract All, then open DotUtsavDesktop.exe inside the folder. Windows opens .zip on its own, so there is nothing extra to fetch.

Windows may show a "Windows protected your PC" notice the first time, because the app is not code-signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. You see it once.

Setting up

Three steps, about two minutes

1

Extract and open

Unpack the download and run DotUtsavDesktop.exe from the folder. No installer, no admin rights, nothing else to fetch.

2

Pair this computer

On the website open Settings, click Pair a device, and type the code into the app. It knows where to connect on its own.

3

Pick a folder

Choose the event and point Sync at your export folder. Export as you always do; uploads happen behind you.

What it does

Built for a venue, not a desk

Survives the venue Wi-Fi

Uploads queue locally and resume where they stopped. Close the laptop, lose the connection, come back later: nothing is lost and nothing uploads twice.

Three uploads at a time

Files are hashed, deduplicated and sent in parallel, with backoff when the network struggles. A file still being written is left alone until it settles.

The full client

Events, photos, guests and sync status, all from the desktop. The browser stays optional.

Revocable by design

Pairing stores a device token, never your password. Revoke a computer from the website and it stops immediately.

Light or dark

Switch in Settings. Dark reads better in a dim reception hall, light in daylight.

Need it on a Mac?

A macOS build is on the way. Tell us and we will let you know the day it lands, or use the web uploader in the meantime: every feature except folder watching works in the browser.
