Questions
The things everyone asks
Do guests need to install an app?
No. The QR code opens a web page that works on any phone with a camera and a browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
What happens to a guest's selfie and face data?
A selfie is used only to match that guest inside that one event. You choose how many days face data is kept, after which it is purged automatically. Guests who never opt in are never matched.
Can guests see everybody else's photos?
That is your choice per event. Either a guest sees only the photos they appear in, or the full gallery stays browsable to anyone with the link.
How fast do photos reach guests?
As soon as they finish uploading and processing. Point the desktop app at your export folder and photos flow to guests while the reception is still going.
What if I run out of storage during an event?
Uploads pause instead of failing silently, and you get warned well before that point. Live galleries stay online no matter what, so a billing problem can never take a wedding gallery down.
Does it work with RAW files?
Export JPEGs into the watched folder, which is already the last step of your edit. Direct RAW support is on the way.
Does face matching work on group shots?
Yes. Faces are detected, aligned and then matched on their embeddings, so side profiles, group rows and low light all still resolve to the right person.
